But I am not doing something right because I can't get the stupid door of the battery case! There is a little silver indention on the door, which I presume is where you put your thumb and push, and no matter which way I turn the mouse and push on that indention, I can't get it to move! I also noticed that there is a little opening (slit) down the side of the door and wondered if I am suppose to prise on this to get the door off. Before I uninstalled the Logtec mouse I decided to go ahead and insert the batteries in the new mouse first so that it would be ready to install after I installed the MS software. Finally got back home late tonight & got on here and read your reply SuperSparks.
